The Amalfi Coast

I loved Vietri.  It was such a cute little town along the coast that wasn't too touristy, but had enough to keep us occupied for an afternoon and evening. We couldn't leave without taking a few more pictures.

The night before, we met an American woman who lived in a neighboring town.  She told us to go to the beach and look for sea glass, so we did! It was so much fun.  Apparently, pottery and glass was thrown into the sea and now washes up on shore in little bits.  We found a ton!

After collecting sea glass, we headed into Ravello for lunch.  Ravello felt a lot bigger than Vietri and had a lot of tourists because of this.  We didn't stay too long in Ravello, but I would definitely go back because it was a cute town with lots to do.

La Dolce Vita...ain't that the truth!

Wine and Drugs? okay.

I had to take a break from all of the pasta and pizza and get a salad.  I didn't regret it! YUM!

The square in Ravello was perfect!

Photoshoot!

After a few hours in Ravello, we drove to Amalfi, which was the biggest town we stayed at along the Amalfi coast.  It was full of tourists and lots to do.

We went inside the huge cathedral, which was beautiful.

The view from the top of the stairs of the cathedral.

We wandered along the water.

Amalfi was great. Despite the fact that it was more crowded, it had a beautiful waterfront and was definitely worth spending an afternoon in.  Everything we saw in both Amalfi and Ravello was as breathtaking as I had pictured, if not more.  Now, I'm just trying to figure out when to go back...
